6th International Summit on “Hurricanes and Climate Change: From Hazard to Impact”: June 4-9, 2017 at the Aldemar Knossos Royal Village Conference Center in Heraklion Crete.
This Summit builds on five previous workshops on the general topic of hurricanes and climate, but departs from them by focusing on the pathway from hazard to impact. The goal of the Summit is to present state-of-the
art research, identify specific outstanding research questions, and address what is needed to help bring the fruits of research on hurricanes and climate to bear on quantitative risk assessment.
As with past summits, a book will be submitted to Springer after the Summit so you can consider a future chapter submission to this venue.
We are hoping to get vol. 4 of Hurricanes and Climate Change to the publisher within a few months of the summit, and we will accepting submissions for consideration in this edition three months prior to the Summit, so please plan accordingly. Submissions will be peer-reviewed.
